Actively mentors nine trainees — medical students and residents — in research design, manuscript writing, and residency and fellowship preparation. Mentees have gone on to match into ophthalmology residency and vitreoretinal fellowship at programs including Massachusetts Eye and Ear (Harvard), Weill Cornell, Boston University, and the University of Arkansas.
